Miami Springs is a golf cart community. Our residents are allowed to drive golf carts within our municipality as long as the golf carts follow Florida laws including a license plate, seat belts, and lighting.
With a plethora of golf carts within our community, the Miami Springs Parks and Recreation Department hosted the first ever Golf Cart Christmas Parade with all the golf carts decorated for the holidays.
Of course, it’s a busy time of year where people are getting their last minute holiday shopping and attending end of year Christmas parties. Nevertheless the parade drew dozens and dozens of Holiday Golf Carts to the parade. Many residents parked along Curtiss Parkway to get a great view of the parade. Others pulled over to see what was going on and enjoy the parade.
We think this is a wonderful new tradition that brings the community together. Special thanks to all the participants and everyone at Parks and Rec and the Police Department for putting together a safe and fun event for all families to enjoy.

The parade participants gathered near the Cavalier Clock on Curtiss Parkway at 6pm. The Parade itself started at 7pm.

After the parade, many of the parade participants just hung out soaking in a wonderful time with friends at the Country Club parking lot.
