“Ouch” was when gas prices were hitting $3.99.  Now when I see the gas pumps I get a bit Cuban with the a reaction of “Coño!”

$4.95 / Gallon at 36th Street BP

The sign says coming soon.  Not at $4.95 per gallon.

$4.89 / Gallon at Sunoco

The Sunoco is a beloved gas station because of its location and convenience, but it continues to be one of the more expensive local stations.

  • 10 gallons = $48.99
  • 20 gallons = $97.98
  • 30 gallons = $146.97

$4.73 / Gallon is the Competitive Price

The Circle Chevron and most of the stations on NW 36th Street are at $4.73 / gallon this morning.

  • 10 gallons = $47.39
  • 20 gallons = $94.78
  • 30 gallons = $141.90

$4.64 / Gallon is the Lowest Price

The Westar Gas Station continues to provide the lowest price in Miami Springs.

  • 10 gallons = $46.49
  • 20 gallons = $92.98
  • 30 gallons = $139.47

Taking the lowest priced gas from Westar, if you’re filling up two vehicles each week at 20 gallons per vehicle, you’re talking about spending $186 per week or $744 per month for fuel.  That’s another car payment.

Hopefully gas will stay below 5 bucks, but it’s possible we see gas prices surpassing $5 per gallon soon.

Drive carefully everybody!
