Spring is here. The Miami Springs Elections just passed. We had a beautiful Easter weekend. We’ve been deluged with a ton of rain all week. Now it’s time for some sunny weather and the Miami Springs River Cities Festival. Woohoo!
Join the thousands of residents and visitors who will come to Miami Springs this weekend for free live entertainment, delicious food, amazing drinks, kids rides and much more. Here’s a quick video from last year’s Festival, the first since COVID-19.
2023 River Cities Festival Events:
The 2023 River Cities Festival has many events for the whole family. Let’s review some of the big events coming to Miami Springs this weekend.
Miccosukee Tribe Showcase
The Miccosukee Tribe returns to the River Cities Festival on its 50th anniversary.
They will be bringing artisan crafts, baby alligators for picture opportunities, and wood carving art.
Don’t miss their beautiful and educational experience. The Miccosukee Experience will be located in Children’s World on the NE corner across from the Self Help Credit Union.
Don’t miss this unique experience.
Car Show Saturday & Sunday
Check out cool rides and classic cars while enjoying time with friends and family at the River Cities Festival. The car show on Saturday will be held from noon to 4pm. On Sunday, the Car show will be held from 1pm to 5pm.

Registration is at the Miami Springs Rec Center.

HAWKS BINGO
Enjoy three days of Bingo at the River Cities Festival. The MSSH Alumni will be hosting BINGO at the Rivers Cities Festival. A family fun game that everyone can take their chance to win some money. Each game will cost just $1 and winner will receive half the earnings from the total amount of individuals playing! All proceeds will be donated back to the school to benefit the next generation of Golden Hawks! Go Hawks!
BINGO SCHEDULE:
- Friday from 7pm – 10pm
- Saturday from 1pm – 3pm
- Sunday from 2pm – 6pm
Games will be held at the Miami Springs Senior High School Alumni Tent.
DOMINOS TOURNAMENT
The Miami Springs Senior High Alumni are adding a wonderful new event to this year’s River Cities Festival. We’re talking about the inaugural Domino Tournament on Saturday, April 15 at 5pm.
MSSH Alumni’s second event of the Festival is….. a Domino Tournament lead by our very own Mr. Alex Pacheco and assisted by Mr. Pino. Spots are limited so make sure to contact us as soon as possible to reserve your team’s spot. Our winners will receive a unique prize that you won’t want to miss out on trying to win! MSSH MEGA REUNION
Back by popular demand. The Miami Springs Senior High MEGA Reunion returns to its traditional spot on Saturday night at 7pm. Every graduating class is invited back to Miami Springs to catch up with your old friends. This is an exceptional event as you get to catch up with people who graduated with you, but also friends who graduated before you, and friends who graduated after you. Don’t miss out.

Yup, the Canal Street Stage is making a comeback this year. (Of course, it’ll be on the portion of Canal Street that’s actually open. No word on when the other portion of Canal Street will actually open. Our guess is we’ll have a new City Manager before Canal Street reopens.)
