Join us in congratulating Roman’s Pizza, Miami Springs’ longest operating pizza shop, as they celebrate 40 years in business.
Roman’s Pizza has a long history in Miami Springs. Back in the “old days” (when you could leave the High School campus for lunch, there was a long line of students that would take the 10 minute walk from Miami Springs Senior High to Roman’s Pizza for lunch. We’d grab a slice of pizza and a coke for $1.50. A great deal for high school kids with limited cash.
Today, the kids can’t leave the campus for lunch, but they still stop by after school. Of course, the Miami Springs community loves to order their great tasting pizza, amazing subs, and awesome pasta dinners. Oh…and don’t forget to order the garlic rolls. Plus, they deliver anywhere in Miami Springs and Virginia Gardens.
Roman’s Pizza is an example of a sole proprietor putting in the hard work every day to not only survive, but to thrive for 40 years. We all see the success, but few truly understand the sacrifices, lost sleep, and commitment that the sole proprietor makes to last 40 years.
In honor of this accomplishment, the City of Miami Springs recognized Jesus Roman with a special plaque commemorating his 40 years of business in Miami Springs. The Town of Medley’s City Attorney and Medley Councilman Edgar Ayala also visited Monday’s City Council Meeting to honor Jesus Roman and Roman’s Pizza!
We want to thank Jesus Roman for literally serving the Miami Springs Community for 40 years with a great product and great service. Thank you for your hard work and commitment to our beautiful community. God bless you!
