Huge news Miami Springs. The First Pickleball Tournament is happening!
The event will be on Veterans Day. Saturday, 11/11/23, 8:00 AM, at The Miami Springs Tennis Center. 25% of the net proceeds will go towards refurbishing the Miami Springs War Memorial.
This is a Doubles Play event, with 16 brackets to choose from. You can enter alone and find another solo player to form a team, or sign up with your partner.
Brackets: Mens, Mens 50+, Womens, and Mixed.
2.99 and under, 3.0-3.49, 3.5-3.99, 4.0 +
Brackets that do not have enough teams may be merged.
Format: Pool Play- All teams in their bracket play each other for seeding. Pool Play games are to 11, win by 1.
The top 4 teams in Pool Play move on to the tournament. Games are to 15, win by 2.
Guaranteed minimum 5 games.
$60 per player, $10 off for early registration which ends on 9/15. Registration includes 1 bracket entry. You will also receive a goodie bag, which will have some light snacks and water donated by Milam’s Markets and a variety of other items from our sponsors. Miami Springs Little League will be onsite raising money for their club by grilling burgers and dogs donated by Ricky’s Meats.
