The Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office announced the arrest of 32 year old Junet Infante-Madruga for allegedly being involved “n an attempt to have a 19 year old human trafficking victim change statements made to law enforcement. Infante-Madruga is also alleged to have attempted to destroy possible electronic evidence.
According to the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office, Infante-Madruga’s had a telephone conversations with a Human Trafficking defendant, Raul Antonio-Jimenez-Rodriguez, while he was in jail. Those jail house conversations are recorded. The evidence from those conversations allegedly indicate attempts to destroy potential evidence against the alleged human trafficker, Raul Antonio Jimenez-Rodriguez. Furthermore, prosecutors allege the recorded conversations contained instructions on how to intimidate the 19 year old human trafficking victim into recanting her prior statements by threatening the victim’s family.
Miami-Dade State Attorney Katherine Fernandez Rundle stated “Witness tampering is always an attempt to undermine justice by corrupting our legal system. Those who would hope to undercut a legitimate search fo the facts are only commenting on their own lack of integrity.”
Miami Springs Police Chief, Armando Guzman stated “The Miami Springs Police Department is committed to its continued partnership with Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Human Trafficking Task to combat Human Trafficking and Sexual Exploitation of victims as well as any attempt to intimidate, coerce, or tamper with any evidence, witness, or victim.”
In January 2022, 40 year old Raul Antonio Jimenez-Rodriguez was arrested and charged with:
- 1 count – Human Trafficking
- 1 count – Unlawful Use of a Two-Way Communications Device
- 1 count – Deriving Support from the Proceeds of Prostitution
- 1 count – Directing Another to a Place of Prostitution
- 1 count – Renting a Space for the use of Prostitution
30 year old Grettel Caceres-Crego was also charged in January with:
- 1 count – Human Trafficking
- 1 count – Unlawful Use of a Two-Way Communications Device

Alleged Goal to Free Human Trafficking Defendant
Miami (February 24, 2022) – Miami-Dade State Attorney Katherine Fernandez Rundle and Miami Springs Police Chief Armando Guzman announce the arrest of 32-year-old Junet Infante-Madruga for her alleged involvement in an attempt to have a 19-year-old Human Trafficking victim change her statements made to police and to destroy possible electronic evidence. Infante-Madruga’s recorded jail telephone conversations with Human Trafficking defendant Raul Antonio Jimenez-Rodriguez outlined attempts to destroy potential evidence against Jimenez-Rodriguez and contained instructions on how to intimidate the trafficking victim into recanting her previous statements by threatening her family.

The genesis of Infante-Madruga’s alleged activities relate to the January 2022 arrest of 40-year-old Raul Antonio Jimenez-Rodriguez and 30-year-old Grettel Caceres-Crego, who are both being charged with:
- 1 count – Human Trafficking
- 1 count – Unlawful Use of a Two-Way Communications Device.
Jimenez-Rodriguez is also being charged with:
- 1 count – Deriving Support from the Proceeds of Prostitution
- 1 count – Directing Another to a Place of Prostitution
- 1 count – Renting a Space for the use of Prostitution
