A Miami Springs resident shared this video purportedly showing an alleged trespasser running around a home along Forrest Drive on the east end of Miami Springs.
According to the resident who submitted the video (and has lived in Miami Springs since 1983), he filed a police report with the Miami Springs Police Department. The resident also expressed concerns that the Miami Springs Police Department is spending too much time policing the 36th street hotels instead of the residential streets. To quote the resident, “Ironically enough… he [the police officer] got called after my report to you guessed it….one of the hotels. We have a HUGE problem.”
The resident was also concerned with rising crime. He stated, “I love my City. I have been here since 1983. But if this doesn’t improve, I am going to be forced to leave. That is truly sad.”
