It was a busy week last week, but we didn’t want to skip out on congratulating Sgt. Vargas on his recent promotion. The City of Miami Springs Police Chief, Armando Guzman, recently promoted Vargas to the rank of Sergeant and presented him with the certificate of promotion shown below.

In other police related news, the Boy Scouts from Troop 334 produced a homemade sign of appreciate with the messaging “Blue Lives Matter” to the Miami Springs Police Department’s afternoon shift officers. Well done Boy Scouts!
