New beautiful benches now grace the entrance of Miami Springs, one beside the Eastern 401 Memorial and the other opposite the Miami Springs entrance sign. These benches, numbered 4 and 5, were thoughtfully placed by our Lions Club members.
Crafted from 500 pounds of recycled plastic wrap and bags, they provide a serene spot to rest along the Curtis Parkway walking path. Take a moment to reflect on the tragic events of Eastern Flight 401 in 1979 or simply enjoy the sunset over the nearby golf course.
