Tony Silva, the Director of the upcoming MS/VG Optimist Club BBQ Throwdown, shared the following letter requesting sponsorship to help the MSVG Optimist Club meet their goal of $10,000 for the BBQ Throwdown event on Saturday, September 28th. If the club reaches their goal, the Optimist Club will be able to give out $5,000 to local youth programs in and around the community. As Tony wrote, “I have been working hard to make this event the best ever and with your help we can make it happen together. I, the undersigned, am the Director of the Miami Springs Optimist BBQ Throwdown and I am writing this letter to ask if you would be interested in sponsoring our 7th Annual Charity BBQ Throwdown.
The event will be held on Saturday September 28, 2019 on the Miami Springs Circle, from 8am onwards. Your generous contribution to our event will help us donate funds to our local youth groups in and around our community. We would be glad if representatives from your organization would join us to thank them in person. We have been trying to bring out the best in kids for over 65 years and hopefully we can continue to do so for many years to come.
