FREE TREES TO HOMEOWNERS!

Your government leaders want you to storm the rec center this Saturday to get your FREE TREES. Yep, the county is at it again giving homeowners free trees.

It`s this Saturday, September 14th from 9am – noon. We recommend you get there before 9am to ensure you get your FREE Trees. They are expected to run out.

FREE TREES to be given away include: Mango,
Longan,
Sapodilla,
Dahoon Holly, and
Orange Geiger.
(Well, of course your taxes already paid for the trees and the salaries for the staff giving it away and the computer system required to make sure you don`t take more than 2 free trees. But who`s counting? Come get your free trees this Saturday. You already paid for them.)

In partnership with the Miami-Dade County Department of Regulatory and Economic Resources Division of Environmental Resources Management, you may get up to 2 free trees per household if you qualify.

Eligibility Requirements: 1) must be a private single family or duplex residential property owner in Miami-Dade County OR have written permission from the owner with a copy of owner`s photo ID; 2) residents who may be eligible and plan to pick up more than 4 trees for various properties at any given event must call DERM at 305.372.6784 to make arrangements with DERM staff; 3) apartment buildings and trailer parks DO NOT qualify; 4) must present photo ID with address to claim a tree.

If you meet these requirements, you are eligible to get up to 2 free trees per household per year while supplies last. Limit of 1 mango tree per property. Some restrictions may apply. See complete rules at www.miamidade.gov/economy

TIP: Bring a cart or wagon to transport your trees to your car!!!!
