Within two weeks of a police involved accident where both a civilian and a police officer were hurt, a 4 way stop has been added to the corner of LaBaron and Minola.
You may recaill, there was an accident that occurred at the intersection of LaBaron and Minola Drive on Thursday, August 1st involving a Miami Springs Police Interceptor SUV and a dark sedan. Initial reports have not established who was at fault.
According to the City of Miami Springs, Police Officer Eric Heffner was released from the hospital and is in good condition.
