During a recent trip, we were able to take some aerial photographs of Miami Springs. These photos reinforce that the Miami Springs triangle is a green canopy with easy access to the best of what greater Miami-Dade County has to offer.
Below, you’ll notice the green triangle right next to Miami International Airport. That green triangle represents the tree canopy we call home in Miami Springs. You’ll also notice the close proximity to Hialeah Park, home of the Flamingos that ever so briefly were flying from Hialeah and roosting near the high school.

This broader view shows how close Miami Springs is to Biscayne Bay, Opa-Locka Airport (Opa-Locka was also founded by Glenn Curtiss), and even Hard Rock Stadium.

Truth be told, the shot below is my favorite. Once again, you can clearly see the Miami Springs triangle right next to Miami International Airport. You can see the Miami River and how it works its way downtown. And you can see how close Miami Springs is to downtown Miami, Biscayne Bay, and the Atlantic Ocean.

And then people wonder why it’s getting so expensive to live in Miami Springs.
We live in paradise.
