Getting kids excited and interested about science in a world with instant gratification and distractions readily available in the palm of their hands is increasingly challenging. But the creative folks at Miami Springs Middle School came up with an exciting event to get kids thinking outside the box. Or shall we say, outside our world.
Welcome to Astronomy Night at Miami Springs Middle School. An evening that allows students to look beyond our planet and gaze upon other worldly bodies. Miami Springs Middle School students were able to view other planets in our solar system and view stars within our galaxy.
We’d like to thank everyone involved in creating this great event including Mr. Castillo who has been credited as spearheading the event, Ms. Borges, and Mr. Gonzalez.
Thank you for making science and learning fun and engaging in an increasingly digital world.
