We want to thank the many businesses on Westward Drive that have done their part to add to the Christmas spirit to our community. We took these pictures last week and want to highlight some of the local businesses, groups, and individuals that have helped to make Miami Springs more beautiful this Christmas season.
Hialeah / Miami Springs Rotary Club
We want to thank the Rotary Club and some of the key figures including Charlie Leonard, Tom Webb, and Jorge Santin for donating lights and even Christmas Trees to help beautify Westward Drive. We also want to thank Miami Springs Public Works that helped to install the trees and lights along Westward. I think everyone can agree that it looks spectacular!
The Leonard Real Estate Group
In addition to hosting the annual Santa Mailbox, and the big inflatable Santa, The Leonard Real Estate Group also has a beautiful Christmas Village viewable from their window. Scroll down to see all the pics.
TWICE AS SWEET
We want to thank Jorge Santin for not only doing his part along with his wife in adding the Christmas decorations to Twice As Sweet, but Jorge was also helpful in stringing up lights from some of the local businesses along Westward. Nice job Jorge!
Coastal Insurance Group
Tom Webb of Coastal Insurance Group also helped to light up Westward Drive at his business, Coastal Insurance Group. He has a wonderful lighted snowman and holiday angel at street level.
But check out the roof. You’ll find Santa at work with his reindeer.
Miami Springs Woman’s Club
We love these wooden reindeer and sley adorned with red ribbons located at the Miami Springs Woman’s Club.
Cozy Corner
Cozy Corner was less about the lights and more about the window art. Featuring Holiday Bells and a Merry Santa Claus.
Harvest Moon
Harvest Moon added string lights to their hedges to complement the lights on the Circle and Westward Drive.
Merci Vintage
Merci Vintage on Westward Drive has a beautiful and classy display not only showing off great outfits for a Florida Christmas, but also bueautiful blue snowflakes and an elegant Christmas Tree.
Siamo’s Pizza
As you walk down Westward you’ll notice a beautiful Christmas Tree inside Siamo’s Pizza. It’s easily visible from the street and adds to the beauty of strolling along Westward this time of year.
Of course there are more business that also had some holiday displays in front of their offices and store fronts, but we wanted to highlight these businesses for doing a great job of adding Christmas cheer to Westward Drive.
Thank you to everyone doing their part to make Miami Springs a more beautiful place to live and work.
God bless you all and Merry Christmas!
P.S.:
After the initial story went up, we learned that more people and organizations were involved with the Westward Christmas Trees this year. They include:
- Miami Springs Lions Club
- Miami Springs Woman’s Club
- Aldo Saavedra from Firenze Group Mortgage
- John Kinney
Thanks to you all!
