The Christmas spirit continues to shine brightly here in Miami Springs. This year marked the second year of the Christmas Golf Cart Parade. It featured scores of golf carts decorated in holiday trimmings and Christmas lights. And the participants joined in by wearing Christmas outfits ranging from holiday pajamas to full on Santa costumes.
The Christmas Golf Cart Parade started near the War Memorial along Curtiss Parkway. It was led by Parks and Rec Director, Omar Luna. The Parade route followed the bike path in the median and finished at the Miami Springs Golf Course Parking lot.
This is yet another one of those little things that makes Miami Springs the ultimate family friendly community in the heart of Miami-Dade County. And even though it was starting to drizzle, a little rain was never going to dampen the Christmas spirit of the golf cart parade participants.
