Theo Karantsalis reveals in an article published by The Miami Herald that the man who was recently arrested in the 500 block of Palmetto Drive was charged with Cyberstalking. According to the article, the FBI arrested Robert Rodriguez, a 53 year old Miami Springs resident.
According to Theo’s article, Robert Rodriguez was harassing a woman whom he was previously involved with romantically. In addition to allegedly harassing the woman, Rodriguez also targeted the woman’s new boyfriend including “threatening phone calls, communicating harassing social media messages, and posting nude photos of the victim on multiple fake social media profiles without the victim’s consent.”
In addition to posting the nude photos, Rodriguez allegedly posted the victim’s real contact information on social media pretending to offer her sexual services as a prostitute.

On June 3, 2021, the FBI executed a search warrant in the 500 block of Palmetto Drive. Miami Springs Police were present to provide local assistance with the arrest.
According to Miami Springs Police, the FBI also had an arrest warrant for the resident of the Palmetto Drive home. The resident was taken into custody by the FBI without incident.
