Miguel Veloso, the Principal of Miami Springs’ Adult Education Center at Miami Springs Senior High, was named the 2018-2019 Miami-Dade County Public Schools’ Principal of the Year. Miami-Dade Public Schools Superintendent, Alberto Carvalho, awarded Principal Veloso with the distinguished honor of “Principal of the Year.” But that’s not all he won. Veloso took home a brand new 2019 Toyota Camry courtesy of Toyota of North Miami.
