The Hawks won in a nail biter on Friday. After being down 0-6 to Miami Beach, Miami Springs Quarterback, Ayden Andersen, took a Quarterback Sweep into the end zone to tie the game 6-6. Unfortunately, the PAT was no good so the game remained a tie at 6-6.

In the second half, Beach High was able to score and take the lead again: 12-6. However, in the ensuing kickoff, Masceo Williams brings it back 70 yards to score a tying touchdown. The PAT was good making, giving the Hawks a one point lead of 13-12.

However, Miami Beach High wasn’t done yet. With time running out, Beach High was able to threaten. But with their kicking game faltering, Miami Beach High opted to go for it on 4th down from the 5 yard line.Ā That’s where the Golden Hawk defense secured the game with a stop with just 4 seconds left in the game.
