I know it’s still February and technically it’s winter. But the signs of spring are starting to sprout in Miami Springs.
I was greeted this morning by these beautiful jasmine flowers blooming in our Miami Springs backyard.
And it wasn’t just the jasmines, the orchids have buds that are also starting to bloom.
Plus, we all notice that the daytime is starting to get a little longer.
And while we’ve got the SuperBowl tonight, we have some big activities around the corner.
On Monday night, February 12th, Hole 19 is hosting a special Valentine’s Day Wine Tasting. It’s going to be a special night for food, drinks, and fun. Indulge in a 6 course love-struck cuisine, sip on and learn about wines from the sommelier.
This Wednesday is both Ash Wednesday AND Valentine’s Day.
Guys, don’t forget to get your special valentine something special for Wednesday. Just a reminder that Milam’s Markets has chocolates, flowers, roses, and orchids. They also have great wine, sushi, and steaks. Oh, and they have Valentine’s Cards, too. No excuses guys!
Blessed Trinity Parish Festival
Thursday is the kickoff to the annual Blessed Trinity Parish Family Festival. It’s a carousel of faith, family, friends, and fun. The weather will be fantastic. The kids love the rides. The parents love the food and drinks. Bring the whole family this weekend to the annual Blessed Trinity Parish Festival.
Speaking of Spring. The annual Springs River Cities Festival returns April 12 through the 14th.
