We are saddened to share that long time Miami Springs resident, Sydney Garton has passed away.
Sydney was a lovely woman full of life and energy that would embarrass many half her age. She enjoyed socializing and singing karaoke. She could be found singing at the Miami Springs Country Club on a regular basis.
Sydney was a character that spread joy to those around her. She was definitely spunky and quick witted.
I know that the Miami Springs community will miss her light. 
We pray for her soul and for her friends and family during this difficult time. We haven’t received any word regarding services, but we’ll be more than happy to share it with the community.

It also includes some interesting video of Old Miami Springs AND the appearance of Sammy Snead visiting the Country Club. I’m not sure how I can get it to you. I think I can place it on a DVD.
