Virginia Gardens is also issuing grocery gift cards with funding from the CARES ACT. The Village of Virginia Gardens posted the following:
“Mayor Deno was able to secure funding through the CARES ACT and MDC, for Publix gift cards to be made available to any residents who have faced financial hardships due to COVID-19. Applications and requirements are below. It is first-come, first- served until we run out. You must be a VG resident with a valid photo ID and it is one per household. Please contact our offices if you have any questions or need assistance. Applications can be turned in M-F between 10am-4pm.”
