According to City of Miami Springs City Clerk, Erika Gonzalez, Mayor Billy Bain has submitted paperwork to run for re-election this April. Billy Bain was Mayor of Miami Springs in the early 2000s before stepping aside due to term limits. He successfully became mayor again in 2015. No word yet if or who will challenge him for mayor.
