Cinco de Mayo was a huge hit in Miami Springs and Virginia Gardens this year with lots of options and a challenge for some to try to hit all the Cinco de Mayo parties within the community.
THE BETTER TACO
The new kid on the block is The Better Taco located in Virginia Gardens.
They had a live DJ and outdoor tent with extra tables and chairs for their grand opening event.
The Better Taco had an excellent with a busy crew keeping the line of customers moving.
The owner, Stephen, was all smiles, but he was working his tail off to make the special event a great success for everyone involved.
The Better Taco is located in the Virginia Gardens Shopping Center just a few doors down from the hardware store: 3946 Curtiss Parkway, Virginia Gardens, FL 33166.
Woody’s Backyard Grill
Woody’s was also busy last Thursday with their Cinco de Mayo Karaoke celebration and Taco Specials.
As you can see the parking lot was packed as early as 6pm as folks gathered to enjoy the evening for a fun night of food, drinks, friends, and Karaoke.

ATACO by Divino is usually a quieter place focused on providing their famous fusion of flavors. Simply put, the food here is absolutely delicious and extremely flavorful. And you’re always welcomed by their friendly staff.
Burritoville
And while on parenting duties (picking up kids at Ray’s Taekwondo Center) we noticed Burritoville was plenty busy on Cinco de Mayo as folks came in to grab a favorite dish and a Margarita or Corona.
