According to an article published by The Miami Herald, the Express-O-Cafe, located at 4767 NW 36th Street and inside the Days Inn Hotel, was shut down on October 4th by state inspectors.

According to the article, the inspection report had the following observations:

“Observed cases of bottle drinks on the floor in the storage room with evidence of vermin present. Food stored in dry storage area not covered. Observed a container of white rice without covering.”

Furthermore, it stated “Observed approximately 15 moist rodent dropping in the storage room by front counter. Observed four dry rodent droppings in storage room by kitchen.”
