The Jagessar family has been part of the Miami Springs Community for decades. Unfortunately, the young mother of the family below was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. Vilma Jagessar is a young mom with 3 children ages 12, 10, and 7 years old. She is also a school teacher and a member of the Springview Elementary family.
It’s challenging enough just being a wife and raising three beautiful children. But Vilma has shown incredible courage and faith for her family as she has tackled numerous treatments including chemotherapy, radiation, and surgery.
Recently, she has had a recurrence of the cancer. Vilma is once again undergoing chemotherapy and immunotherapy with multiple doctor visits each week.
Vilma’s husband has remained by her side as a full-time caretaker and therefore unable to work. Vilma’s family setup a GoFundMe page to help raise funds to help alleviate the family’s financial burden.
According to her sister, “Vilma is a fighter. Most importantly, she’s got God on her side and we know He’s a God of miracles.
