Vehicular Burglary remained the top crime in Miami Springs. This is when someone gets into the car to steal items from within your car. A phone, radio, GPS, purse, etc. In the month of June, Miami Springs had 11 reported thefts from a vehicle or vehicular burglary.
There were 2 reported cases of cars stolen. 1 on the 400 block of Lee Drive and the other in the 400 block of Forrest Drive.
There were 3 reported cases of bicycles stolen on Dove, Pinecrest, and Falcon.
In June, there were 4 cases of Breaking and Entering: One on the 400 block of Crescent Drive on June 4th. One on the 100 block of Bentley Drive on June 18th. One on the 400 block of Eldron Drive on June 22nd. And one on June 29th on the 200 block of Deer Run.
There was a reported incident of an Armed Robberty at Hook Square and Canal Street. That incident occurred on June 3rd at 11:30 PM.
