According to CrimeReports.com, Miami Springs had 48 reported crime incidents during the month of September.
As usual, Vehicular Burglaries were on top with 18 incidents. Seven of the incidents reported were along the OfficeDepot, Burger King, Pollo Tropical corner of LeJeune and 36 Street. There were another 6 incidents between the 5100 block and 5300 block of NW 36 Street. That`s the area around the iHop on 36 Street.
In the residential areas, cars were broken into along the 600 block of Falcon, 600 block of Raven, and 500 block of Quail. As you probably noticed, these 3 incidents were within a few blocks of each other.
BREAKING AND ENTERING – RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY
There were 3 reported incidents of residential burglaries last month. That includes the 1 block of South Royal Poiinciana Boulevard, the 1 block of Truxton Drive, and the 100 block of Fairway Drive.
ASSAULT WITH DEADLY WEAPON
There were 2 reported incidents of an assault with a deadly weapon. One incident occurred in the 300 block of Deer Run. The other occurred in the 200 block of Westward Drive.
