In a recent incident on Westward Drive, law enforcement made contact with an individual named Kendol Romero who was spotted peering into the carport of a residence. The encounter quickly escalated when officers discovered that Romero allegedly had an active warrant for trespass from Miami-Dade County.
As they attempted to apprehend him, Romero resisted arrest vigorously, flailing his arms and kicking in an attempt to evade handcuffing. Fortunately, officers managed to subdue him after a brief struggle, ensuring a peaceful resolution to the situation. A subsequent search of Romero’s backpack revealed 1.4 grams of crack cocaine, which he admitted to owning. Consequently, Romero faced additional charges related to drug possession, further complicating his legal predicament.
