The moral of the story is, get a dash cam. Not every corner has a red light camera. Fortunately for this driver, the red light camera at Miami Springs’ busiest intersection (NW 36 Street and LeJeune Road) was able to catch the hit and run on video.
According to the Miami Springs Police Department: “Red light camera captures Hit and Run subject. Recently detectives were able to make an arrest of a Hit and Run subject with the use of the red light camera video that captured the incident.”
