Miami Springs COVID-19 Cases
it’s been a years since the COVID-19 pandemic began. Within zip code 33166, the Florida Department of Health has recorded 4,909 cases of COVID-19, including 87 new cases in the last 7 days. In Miami Springs, we estimate there have been 2,700 residents who have contracted the virus since the start of the pandemic, including 48 cases in the last 7 days.
Miami-Dade COVID-19 Cases
Over the last year, the Florida Department of Health has recorded 426,149 cases of COVID-19, including 12,145 hospitalizations, and 5,651 fatalities. The State of Florida is approaching nearly 2 million cases of the Coronavirus since the start of the pandemic. Last week, there were 32,212 new cases statewide. That continues the downward trend of new cases statewide despite being in the middle of Spring Break travel season. Florida lost 629 people due to COVID-19 last week. That’s down from over 900 the prior week.
