Yesterday`s thunderstorm is just a reminder of how powerful and dangerous a lightning storm can be.
A lightning bolt struck a tall tree on South Drive during yesterday`s storm shattering a good portion of the tree and sending lumber crashing down. Fortunately, no one was injured and there was no reported property damage, except of course, for the tree itself.
